Ram comes to know about Rahim

In the evening, Aslam phoned to Ram. “Choudhary has asked me to tell you once again about the possibility of attack on the parliament. You are diverting the commandos to India gate. We should be alert near the parliament. When you are not in the city there is much problem.”

Ram was surprised. “But I am in Hyderabad now. When did I divert the commandos?”

Aslam was shocked. “Sir, what are you saying? I talked to you last night. Your mother is also here.”

Ram was shocked. “Just wait. I will phone to you through a land line.”

He switched off his cell and took up a land line phone.

Aslam said, “Sir, my doubt is cleared. Last time when you were not here also I was confused in the same way. Something fishy is going on. There is a man looking just like you here in the city.”

Ram said, “I am coming immediately.”

Aslam was happy. “Good. I will show your duplicate.”

Rahim had high fever at night.

Srilaxmi touched his forehead. It was hot. “Oh! Your body is so hot.”

Rahim said, “I think I have fever. My body is shivering.”

Srilaxmi started treatment. She sat near him on the bed. It was midnight. She brought kashaya and put wet cloth on his forehead.

Rahim thought, “Maybe I have some last birth connection with this lady. My own mother has never taken care of me with so much love.”

He had tears in his eyes.

Srilaxmi observed this and was surprised. “Why are you crying? Are you thinking of your wife, sister and father? How cruel those terrorists are. They killed all of them.”

She had tears in her eyes. The tears fell on his face. Rahim wiped his face. He was shocked.

Srilaxmi said, “Only I am left for you and only you are left for me. That is why I left the village and came here. I kept seeing them in front of me and felt scared. If I had stayed there maybe those terrorists might have killed me also.”

Rahim was shocked. He put his hand on her mouth. “No. Don’t say that. That terrorist only will die. Just watch.”

Rahim thought, “Islam never said this. We have to protect the ladies. Maybe what I am doing is all wrong. I am getting so confused in front of this angel like person.”
