Maula agrees to describe Jilal

Maula finished telling Commando Ram what had happed. “After that Jilani never visited the Masjid again. I thought he was busy with the job.”

Ram asked, “Have you got any photo of Jilani?”

Maula shook his head sadly. “No. I don’t. But I can describe him for you.”

“Good.” Ram clicked his fingers at his assistant. “Bring that Kadar here. Also call that computer designer.”

Computer designer consulted Maula and Kadar and drew the face of Jilani on the computer. Ram noted a prominent birthmark on his face. “Note the birthmark on his face.”

Suddenly one public prosecutor entered the room. “The court has passed orders to produce Maula and Kadar.”

Ram said, “I am bringing them to the court tomorrow. I got what I wanted.”

He called his assistants. “There is a black sheep among us. He is leaking information and supplying photos of what we are doing to the TV reporters and journalists. We have to catch him.”

He stared at Aslam. “This black sheep is more dangerous than those terrorists. I will definitely catch him one day.”

Aslam was shocked. He stared at Ram.

Proceedings were going on in the court. Ram’s sister Sangita was arguing on behalf of Kadar.

Sangita said, “In the name of terrorists, they are torturing innocent people. I request you to release them.”

Public Prosecutor got up. “As you requested, we have brought the Maula and Kadar.”

Maula and Kadar came and stood in front.

Judge asked, “Are you Kadar?”

Kadar nodded. “Yes sir.”

Judge looked at him. “Did Commando Ram and his men torture you?”

Kadar looked at Ram and remained silent.

Judge said, “You don’t need to be scared. Tell the facts correctly.”

Kadar was tired. He raised his head. “Commando Ram did not torture me, sir.”

All were shocked. Lawyer Sangita came forward. “Sir, he is scared of Commando Ram.”

Kadar folded his hands. “Forgive me, madam. Your honor, Ram found out my weakness. I understand now how wrong it is to feel pity for the poor. Since childhood I have this one weakness. I fee pity for the poor Muslims. I always wonder when our Muslims will become literate and when they will came out of their poverty. That bastard Jilani made use of my weakness and murdered famous scientists.”

He had tears in his eyes. “What a terrible thing happened. Scientists are diamonds of our country. I feel bad that my weakness lead to their death.”

All were surprised. Judge removed his glasses and wipes his eyes.

Kadar said, “I understand now that I am Indian and will now help Indians. I will see everyone as Indians and not as Hinudus or Muslims.”

All clapped. Judge looked at Maula. “Did Commando Ram torture you?”

Maula laughed. “Commando Ram is great. He did his duty. I understand one thing now. I must find out the background of every new person who comes to the Masjid. I want to tell all maulvis to keep an eye on any new person. We maulvis should give information to the police if we find anything strange in their behavior. I never knew from which country Jilani came from. I just saw him doing namaaz 5 times a day and was impressed. I went out of my way to help him and he made use of my good nature.”

Ram said, “People from Bangladesh and Pakistan were coming to India and getting ration cards and passports through our corrupt officials. They spoil our youth by talking of Jihad. If our Maulvis help us, it will be easy for us to catch the terrorists. Sir, I request you to release these two men.”

Judge said, “Yes. Granted.”

Brother Sister at airport

Ram was in the airport with his sister Sangita, who was now on her way back home. “Tell mother and Vasudara that I have asked about them.”

Sangita asked, “Are you angry with me for supporting Kadar?”

Ram said, “No. I did my duty as a commando and you did your duty as a lawyer. I am proud of you.”

Sangita said, “I thought that you were wrongly questioning Kadar and Maula just because they were Muslims. But now I realize how right you were. Only after questioning them, you were able to catch the real culprit. I am also proud of you.”

Sangita bid good bye and left. Ram waved at her happily.
