CHAPTER 54
Ram searches for mother and Rahim takes his place
Ram went to Hyderabad to search for his
missing mother. Rajeshwar and Srilekha came to meet him.
Police Somashekhar approached Ram. “Sir, I was keeping
watch on her. I think she was not at peace mentally. She used to sit in front
of the family photo and weep. Sometimes she even told me that she had just
spoken to her husband.”
Ram said sadly, “I tried to take her with me but she
refused.”
Rajshekhar said, “I also tried to persuade her to come
and stay with us. But she refused. It is already 3 days since she disappeared.
I wonder where she is.”
Someshekhar said, “I think she must be somewhere in
Hyderabad since she had just a small bag with her. She had gone to the temple.
I was outside waiting for her. There was some function going on and so there
were many people around. She must have left by the 2nd door.”
Chandu said, “Sir, already there have been 2 attacks
on your family. I hope that the terrorists have not kidnapped her. We have even
looked at dead bodies.”
Ram was shocked. “She is the only one left for me.
What will I do if she is no more? I will also search for her with you. She must
be in Hyderabad itself.”

Rahim pretending to be Ram, went to the
front door of Ram’s house.
The security saluted. “Sir, you were back.”
Rahim went to the door and put his hand in his pocket.
“Wonder where I have kept the key.”
Security showed the key. “Sir, you left the key with
me.”
He opened the door. “Did you find madam?”
Rahim was surprised. He had no idea about Ram’s mother
gone missing. But he just said, “Ah ha!”
He entered the house and looked around. He saw a
family photo. He thought, “Oh! A family photo. Must be his parents. This must
be his sister.”
Then he saw the twins standing between the parents. “Wonder
which is Ram. Both looked same.” He sat on the sofa.
Rahim sat on the sofa. “The heart of India should
burst in 2 days time before Ram returns.”
He picked up the phone. “I have entered.”
Raju said, “Fine. Sir.”
