61. Action on Parliament

CHAPTER 61
Action on Parliament

Rahim started giving all information about the terrorist hideouts all over India. Commandos started arresting the terrorist at various places like Hyderabad, Calcutta, Bangalore, Coimbatore, etc. Action started all over India. Raju was also arrested.

Two men in army dress went in two different directions. Rahim went to Gilani. Aslam went with him. “If you take a wrong step, I will kill you immediately.”

Rahim said, “I have promised on Quran. I am a changed man now. I did give you total information about the terrorists all over India, didn’t I? Don’t you still trust me?”

Aslam shook his head. “No. you are a snake I will never trust you.”

Gilani was shocked to see Aslam with Rahim. “Are you Rahim? I need proof.”

Rahim showed his ohm sign.

Gilani said, “Ok. But how came this commando is with you?”

Rahim said, “I have changed his mind. He is now one of us.”

Gilani nodded.

Rahim looked at the ISI chief. “After the job is over, transfer 50 lakhs to his account.”

ISI chief nodded.

Rahim said, “Ok. Tell me where the bombs are.”

Gilani said, “One car is in front of the Blue Diamond Hotel. No. DHI 42 and the other car is in front of Green Garden Hotel. No. DH578.”

Rahim said, “Good. I will operate from outside. You be here.”

Rahim went out with Aslam.

************************************************
One car was moving towards the parliament building. Rahim and Aslam were on a motor bike. They hit the car. The car skids. Rahim shot with AK-47 gun. Car slipped and burst into flames. The public ran away. Men inside the car came out with flames on their bodies.

Rahim shouted, “Vande Mataram”

Seeing this Aslam stared at him. “Bharat mata ki jai. Vande mataram.”

**********************************************

Ram observed a car moving towards the parliament. He fired. The car bursts into flames. His cell rang. It was Aslam. “Success here.”

Ram said happily, “Here also success. Pass the cell to Rahim.”

Ram said to Rahim on phone, “Thanks Rahim. Come to the gate.”

******************************************

Rahim came to the Parliament gate with Aslam. TV crew was all around.
Ram hugged Rahim. “You have saved the Parliament.”

Rahim said, “I have done what every true Indian would do. I have done so much crime. This is the only good deed I have done after understanding Islam. You can arrest me or cut my body to pieces.”

Public watched the scene. Rahim raised his hands. “Do whatever you want with me for the anti-national deeds I have done. Kill me with your own gun. Don’t let me live.”

Ram looked at him silently. Rahim took Ram’s AK-47 and threw it at the public.
“I should not live. I have done anti-national deeds. Kill me.”

Maula took the gun. “You should not live. You are an anti-national. You have killed your own sister, father and sister-in-law. Only death is the punishment for what you have done.”

Maula fired bullets into Rahim’s body. Rahim raised his hands in the air and shouted, “Vande mataram. Vande mataram”

Rahim’s body fell down. He was no more.

60. Rahim is Laxman

CHAPTER 60
Rahim is Laxman

Maula Kajuthin was brought in. Rahim looked at his father. “Salam vale kum.”

Maula was very angry. “Who wants you wishes? I brought you up as my own son thinking that you will become a big Maula one day and give peace to the world. Instead you have given only terror.”
He stared at Rahim.

Rahim stared at Maula silently.

Maula took out the Quran and pointed to it. “Show me where it is written that one should do anti-national deeds. You have read the Quran many times and become a big scholar. But actually you never understood Quran. You are just an anti-national.”

Rahim stared at his father.

Maula kept Quran in front of him. “Read the Quran now. Show me where it is written that you should do anti-national deeds.”

Rahim cried. “No appajan. It is not written anywhere in Quran.”

Maula asked, “Then why did you do such things?”

Rahim said, “Appajan, when I was studying at Noor-E-Salam, my room mates told me that Islam was in danger. They gave me books to read. They showed me CDs and convinced me that I have to save Islam.”

Ram said, “Yes. They spoilt your head showing you CDs on Jihad. But just watch how innocent people are dying because of what you have done.”
He put the CDs and showed him people suffering in the bomb blast in Hyderabad main bazaar. One child was crying near the dead bodies of her parents.

Maula asked, “What do you say now? What answer can you gave to that small child whom you had made an orphan? Can you give her back her parents? See that mother crying over the dead body of her son.”

Mother on CD said, “I washed dishes in many houses to make him an engineer. Now I have no one.”

Maula asked, “What answer will your terrorism give to that lady? What sin have these innocent people done to suffer like this?”

Rahim was shocked. He put his hand on his head. “Appajan, please forgive me.”

Maula approached him. “When there was commotion in the bazaar, someone left you in the Masjid. You were just 3 years old. I thought Allah gave you to me and brought you up as my own son. We gave you more love than to our own children thinking that you were Allah’s gift. My elder son is in the army fighting for the nation. I am proud of him. What about you? I thought you were in Mecca preaching to thousands of people. Instead of spreading peace, you became a terrorist.”

Rahim pleaded with folded hands. “Appajan please forgive me.”

Maula said angrily, “Don’t call me Appajan. You are not my son. An anti national cannot be my son.”

Srilaxmi approached Rahim. “Didn’t I tell you? You are my son Laxman.”
She caressed his head and hugged him. “It is the game of fate. I will excuse you.”

Ram said, “You may excuse this anti-national but Indians who died because of him will never forgive him. My wife, my sister and my father died because of him. He has killed his own sister, his own sister-in-law and his own father. How can you forgive him?”

Rahim looked at Ram. “I am not asking you to forgive me. I know that there is no forgiveness in Islam for what I had done.”

Aslam said, “Not just in Islam, there was no forgiveness for you anywhere in this country. I would hang you in Red fort.”

Rahim got up and put his hands up. He approached Aslam. “Come on. Kill me.”

Aslam was silent.

Rahim said, “If you are a true Muslim, kill me.”

Aslam said, “We will not kill you so easily. We have to first make you talk. There is so much information to get from you. We will arrest all your men and hang them in front of you.”

Rahim approached Ram. “Very soon there will be an attack on the Parliament. My plan will be in action. 80% of the plan is ready. They are just waiting for my signal. The explosion is ready to go off in one hour.”

Rahim took up his cell.

Ram put a gun at his head. “Postpone everything for one more day.”

Rahim said, “I am doing just that. I am trying to cancel the action somehow.”

Rahim called Gilani. “Wait till tomorrow for my orders.”

Gilani said, “Forgive me Maulasab. Everything is ready and in movement. Human bombs are packed in 2 wings. Pakistan ISI has taken over.”

Rahim was shocked. “What are you saying? How can things move without my order?”

Gilani said, “Please speak to ISI chief.”

ISI chief said on phone. “Mr. Rahim, do you know one thing? Commando Ram is already in Delhi. We cannot succeed if he is around. So we are acting quickly before things fail. The blast will take place in ½ an hour.”

The phone was switched off.

Rahim became desperate. “Things have gone out of our hands. But I have a plan. I will control from one side and you control from the other. We have to protect the parliament, the heart of India. It is my plan so I only can cancel it to save India.”

Ram bit his teeth with anger.

Rahim put his hand on Quran. “Please trust me. My life is Islam. Quran is my most precious book. After I have promised on this book, I will sacrifice my life to fulfil it. After India is safe, don’t allow me to breathe even for a minute more. For the anti-national deeds I have done, you cut my body to pieces.”

Maula approached Rahim. “You have put your hand on Quran. I know Islam is your life and breathe.”
He looked at Ram. “Ram, we have to protect the parliament. I know Rahim very well. Those Pakistanis might have poisoned his mind and made him lose the right path. But he will not tell lies. I promise that once the job is done, I will not leave him to survive. I myself will kill him.”

Ram said, “Nobody needs to kill him. After this job, law will take its own course.”
